The Bridge Over The Valley :: Community Garden

The Bridge Over The Valley Community Garden program provide fresh healthy food for anyone. We bring diverse people together in the spirit of good planting. We are a collaborative network of local gardens representing different communities. Good farming practices increases the availability, awareness, and accessibility of healthy, fresh locally grown food. Our global partners provide us with the resources and systems needed to ensure success with growing food while developing partnerships with area businesses, government, schools, churches, nonprofits, and knowledgeable members of the community. We have noticed a reduction of chronic illness and obesity within the communities that participate.

I have been coming to the community garden since I found out about it. If it wasn't for this community, my family would have gone hungry on numerous occasions. The community garden doesn’t require money but they do allow us to donate what we have. I can't thank you enough for the many times you have helped my family in times of need. I have told my family and friends about how blessed that there was help us with no questions asked or judgement. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here when we were in a time of need.
